In a market increasingly attentive to the quality of the final product, and more and more sensitive to the protection of consumer health and the environment, the reduction of chemical treatments, both in terms of pest and weed control, becomes an element that can make a difference also from a competitiveness point of view. For this reason, the Badalini company from Rivarolo Mantovano has focused on the design and construction of mechanical weeders, which can eliminate weeds without the use of chemicals. The machines from the Mantova brand make use exclusively of mechanical weeding methods in the row. With a working speed between 3 and 5 kilometres per hour, these processes eliminate unwanted plants while fully respecting the crops. Besides being environmentally friendly, the Badalini weeders are versatile work tools (they can work on any type of crop), reliable, easy to use both with manual and satellite guidance, and are valued for their simple maintenance procedures. However, as the manufacturer recommends, for the processing to be most effective, it is necessary to employ the applications by the Lombardy company when the plant is in the initial stage of growth. In short, due to their construction characteristics, the Badalini mechanical weeders find their ideal application area in organic farming, but the results are great even in conventional agriculture, which is also careful to protect the environment and people.
