Mechanical and ecological, the weeder according to Badalini

The manufacturer Badalini takes great pride their machines for soil working and especially for weeding as demonstrated by the innovative Biodiserbatrice (Bioweeder) created by the Mantua company for a market increasingly attentive to respect of the environment, the health of consumers and those in farming who work to provide top quality products. In summary, this market is always prepared to substitute chemicals for achieving zero impact on the environment or at least the lightest aggression possible. This is the scenario for the development of alternative weeding technologies with the use of mechanical procedures as much for anti-parasite as for weed control work with solutions which can lead to competitive advantages. For these reasons, Badalini in Rivarolo Mantovano has aimed to turn out weeders capable of eliminating weeds without the use of chemical products. The Lombardy manufacturer’s highly versatile machines suitable for all types of crops, presented at recent edition of EIMA International, are based exclusively on mechanical operations for destroying undesired plant growth, at speeds of 3 to 5 km/h, with maximum care for the cultivations worked with non-invasive methods. Rotating elements mounted on the Bioweeder enable the machine to operate at up to 10 km/h in optimum conditions or in conventional work while substituting chemical weeding. Badalini weeders are reliable and user-friendly machines driven manually as well with GSP. The only condition to be aware of for achieving the most efficient work is in using mechanical weeding when the plants are in their first phase of growth. The manufacturer reported, “Our machines find that their ideal field is in organic farming but achieve top level results, also in conventional agriculture when the user is attentive to safeguarding the environment and the person.”
