Fissore in Marene is a manufacturer of reference in the Cuneo industrial district which exports nearly half its production to major markets in France, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Greece, Hungary and Canada. The company assigns its success to an intelligent entrepreneurial strategy aimed at a fine calibration of the diversification of production. Fissore's highly specialized ranges, in fact, cover machinery for the winter maintenance of roads and highways with a snow removal line of blades and salt and sand spreaders and soil preparation machinery extending from inter-row fertilizers, water pumps, rotary ditchers and on to haylage blades. Progress Hoeing machines are yet another Fissore line of cultivators designed for maize cultivations on terrain which is especially compacted and hard. The Progress models were officially presented at the Savigliano, near Cuneo, agricultural mechanization trade fair with a heavy duty frame and anchor for working the soil down to a depth of 30 cm and a roller for crushing clods lifted earlier by the hoeing machine. The basic Progress Hoe model, among those for three, four and six row work, can be fitted with a stainless steel fertilizer hopper with a 1000 liter capacity for accurate distribution at the base of the plants. All the hoeing machines in this line are equipped with a hydraulic system for raising the external components for transport on the road.
