BKT tyres: resistance and driving comfort
At Agritechnica, BKT presented its new generation tyres to the general public at the exhibition, which enrich an already large and differentiated range. The spotlight is on, first of all, FORESTLAND, a new tyre for the agro-forestry sector. Designed for the most complex applications, FORESTLAND is characterised by its polyester casing and tread compound which make it particularly resistant to cuts and tears, while the robust sidewall extends its life cycle over time. Optimal traction on soft surfaces, grip on any terrain thanks to the rigid and reinforced tread blocks, high level of stability and high self-cleaning properties are the main characteristics of this model. Another novelty from BKT is the FORESTMAX radial tyre for tractors used in forestry applications and agricultural operations. With FORESTLAND, FORESTMAX shares the characteristics relating to the robustness of the tread compound and resistance to cuts and tears, but stands out for the structure with steel belts which significantly reduces the risk of punctures. FORESTMAX guarantees traction and stability, even on rough and irregular terrain, and is appreciated for its self-cleaning capabilities and long life. POWERTRAILER SR 331, on the other hand, is an All-Steel radial tyre for use both in the field and on the road. It guarantees optimal flotation when engaged in agricultural work and an ideal level of traction when operating on asphalt. The All-Steel construction ensures high load capacity, casing stability and greater durability. The multi-block tread design – explains the Indian manufacturer in a technical note – is characterized by lower rolling resistance, uniform contact pressure and greater fluidity on the road. These features contribute to reducing fuel consumption and improving driving comfort on the road. The long review of BKT innovations for Agritechnica ends with the 34'' x 6'' x 44 size of the AGRIFORCE BK T71 rubber track for agriculture. The bestsellers of the range will also be in great evidence at the Indian manufacturer's stand from the two radial RIDEMAX FL 615 (designed specifically for the non-driving wheels of agricultural trailers, tankers and spreaders) and FL 695 (intended for trailers used in the construction sector and agricultural transport), which are characterized by their self-cleaning capacity.
