Ideal of Castelbaldo (Padua) presents plenty of new products at the Bologna event. We start with Drop Save, an environmentally friendly and technologically advanced mister, which is characterized by a recovery system and the new DS command (patented), which allow to recover up to 50% of the product. Technologies for geolocation, tracking of treated areas, cloud-based data sharing and automated work procedures make the Drop Save mister a machine particularly suited to the needs of agriculture 4.0. Staying in the mister segment, the Supra model is an Enama/Entam certified application able to work on several rows in large vineyards and with luxuriant vegetation. At Eima International, the machine is also presented in the “Recovery” version, that is, with drift recovery panels that allow to recover on average up to 25% of the misted liquid. The Loire model is an sprayer equipped with a tower fan and a reverse suction fan, designed to minimize drift during treatments on espalier vineyards. For operations on hilly areas, Ideal offers the semi-mounted Bora mister, which stands out for the special configuration with fan mounted to the three points of the tractor and the tank towed by an articulated rudder. For protecting orchards, we highlight the Perfection sprayer, equipped with a powerful axial fan with 2 counter-rotating propellers. The two propellers produce a large volume of air distributing it symmetrically on both sides (which turns out to be particularly advantageous in cultivations with large plant layouts and luxuriant vegetation). In the name of innovation, Rhone and Rhone Top are characterized by a large fan with reverse suction. Rhone is equipped with a round conveyor, for optimal coverage with tall and dense plants, while Rhone Top is equipped with a trapezoidal shaped conveyor, for a distribution perpendicular to the vegetation and a lower drift. Among the pulverizers for full-field crops, the models of the series Poly are worth mentioning, available in mounted and towed versions, with mechanical or hydraulic bars: from the entry-level Poly, suitable for small and medium-sized surfaces, to the more rugged Poly Super and Poly Super Plus for treatments on medium-large areas. Available with a high capacity tank and with large hydraulic bars, each model can be customized with different types of accessories according to the specific needs of the end user.

For fruit and vegetable crops, the spotlight is on the misters with Maraichere bars, designed to work in low-medium volume, both in the open and in the greenhouse. These applications exploit the high speed of the air produced by the centrifugal fan to obtain a very fine micronization of the liquid and a significant movement of the foliage. Finally, also for targeted treatments in the open field and in the greenhouse, we must mention the MIG line, a range of msprayers and misters with a cannon head.
