Core synchronizes agricultural processes

It’s called Farmer Core and is a technology developed by the Californian company Trimble to connect all the information and data about operations on the farm. Available online and on all mobile devices, with the Trimble Ag Software subscription as part of the Trimble Connected Farm suite, Farmer Core is a “software-as-a-service” (SaaS), which integrates data related to the precision farming applications generated by the machines. The system - explains the US company with a note - simplifies the settings and optimizes the agricultural operations above all thanks to the AutoSync function, which automatically synchronizes guidelines, field names, boundaries, landmarks and operator information between the Trimble Ag Software and the Trimble displays through the Precision-IQ work interface. The great strength of the system is precisely the automatic synchronization because, by eliminating manual sharing via USB, it significantly reduces the margins of error (duplication and re-insertion, for example) and improves the quality of the collected data. In particular, the technology developed by the US company (distributed in Italy by Vantage Italia) allows to simplify the cultivation plan, importing or drawing field boundaries and mapping reference points with Trimble Ag Mobile, which will then be shared on all connected devices (laptops, smartphones, tablets and Trimble displays). However, the platform also makes it possible to streamline agricultural operations, that is, to manage guidelines, boundaries, field names, reference points and operator data on all connected devices during agricultural operations, integrating the data generated by the machines coming from Trimble displays and from different sources via the APIs. Furthermore, with Farmer Core it is also possible to keep track of purchases and costs per field, improve the consistency of precision farming data, and generate detailed reports for the farmer’s company documentation or for third parties. In other words, Farmer Core can improve the reliability of farm documentation.
