After the SIMA in Paris saw the international debut of the Electra 21 mixer, the 36th edition of the National Fair of Agricultural Mechanization, held in Savigliano (Cuneo) from March 16 to 19, marked the official launch of this model in Italy. Electra 21 is a self-propelled vertical mixer with two converging augers, designed and manufactured by the Piedmontese company Supertino (the headquarters are in Saluzzo) with a fully electric propulsion system. This system - assures the manufacturer - can handle an entire day of work, thus reconciling productivity and respect for the environment. These two priorities are only seemingly irreconcilable, but thanks to technological advances, especially its eco-friendliness, are increasingly within reach. The “electric revolution” is just beginning, and at Supertino they are aware of it. The Piedmont brand declares it openly when it says that Electra 21 is just the first step in this direction and electrical technology in this market segment offers wide development margins. On the other hand, the advantages of the new Supertino vertical mixer are measured not only in terms of environmental impact (zero fossil fuels, zero polluting emissions), but also from the point of view of greater comfort for the operator (the machine has very low noise levels) and that of maintenance, which is greatly reduced. In short, the Electra 21 vertical mixer promises to have a positive impact both on the environment and on the management of farm costs.
