A great party with 250 customers celebrated the opening of the new Campogalliano (Modena) plant, which covers an area of 4 thousand square metres. Emiliana Serbatoi, a company specialized in the production of tanks and storage, transportation and fuel distribution systems, celebrated its 35th anniversary of business. Founded on 17 June 1983 by Giancarlo Morselli and his son Gian Lauro, the company, which has been developing control and supply management systems from the very beginning, has diversified its production, also specializing in the manufacture of plastic tanks. The growth in turnover - today, Emiliana Serbatoi, led by Gian Lauro Morselli, has 90 employees and sales for 25 million euros - has been coupled with a progressive expansion of the production structure (in 2001 it moved to the current headquarters in Campogalliano, while in 2013 a second plant was opened in San Donà di Piave) and the achievement of important quality standards, starting from the Uni En Iso 9001:2008.” Emiliana Serbatoi is a model of our industrial district, which is always evolving, surmounting international challenges”, said the president of the Emilia Romagna Region, Stefano Bonaccini, speaking at the celebrations for the thirty-fifth anniversary, held at Villa Cesi di Nonantola, near Modena.”We have really come a long way, my father Giancarlo and I, and today - said the company owner, Gian Lauro Morselli - Emiliana Serbatoi is an international company, we export our products to all continents, and the two production sites already in operation will be joined by a third, to be added shortly in the Modena area”. All this is thanks to the fact that in expanding global markets, Emiliana Serbatoi has never lost sight of the relationship with its local territory, rich in innovation, creativity and ingenuity.
