The world premiere launch took place in 2018 at EIMA International’s prestigious fair. Later, in February 2019, it was Sima turn in Paris and, in autumn, Agritechnica’s. The close of Faresin Full Electric 6.26 model “roadshow” was, last January, at Fieragricola’s 114th edition, where the general public of the Veronese fair could see the first electric lift made by the Vicenza company (headquarters in Breganze) on the 6.26 model’s chassis. “The decision to adopt green energies - explains Silvia Faresin, Vice President of Faresin Industries - was born inside the company thanks to our research center which developed the first 100% electric lift.

It is a model entirely designed and manufactured in our country, in collaboration with universities and professional schools of the area”. The Full Electric telescopic handler is equipped with a silent and zero-emission 15 kW electric engine It is a result of an intense project work undertook by the technicians of the R&D department of Faresin Industries for several years. These characteristics make the Faresin’s brand “green” model the ideal work tool for indoor activities, especially in those places where the use of endothermic engines is not recommended, and for traditional agricultural operations approach.
The main 15 kW engine dedicated to the basic functions of the lift is assisted by a second engine (10 kW), specialized in the management of hydraulic systems. Both are powered by a pack of 80 Watt and 300 Ah lithium batteries (standard), but one with a higher amperage of 400 Ah is also available. Charging time are very competitive. In the case of the 300 Ah model, it goes from 15 hours required for a complete cycle with a standard charger to 3 hours and 45 minutes with an external three-phase charger to drop to 1.5 hours with the rapid three-phase charger. Longer times for the 400 Ah battery: 20 hours for a complete cycle with a standard single-phase charger and 2 hours for quick charging procedures. In this case, what is “lost” as a recharge speed is gained from the point of view of operating autonomy with the 400 Ah model which provides - manufacturer’s data - up to 8 hours for discontinuous activities and up to 5 for continuous cycle operations.
A respectable performance also from the 300 Ah batteries that sustain up to 3 hours in a continuous cycle and up to 6 in discontinuous activities. In short, in terms of performance, the Faresin home electric lift has nothing less than its cousins with endothermic propulsion. Not even from the point of view of the lifting capacity (2.6 tons, the same as the diesel model) or from that of maneuverability, enhanced by the four steering wheels and a turning radius of only 3.25 meters. Another Full Electric’s great strength, in addition to the duration of the battery pack (the average life is about 2,000 work cycles corresponding to almost four and a half years) is represented by the operating costs, which are 60% lower than machinery with an endothermic engine. Costs, therefore, are reduced to a minimum, as well as the recovery time of the investment that the manufacturer estimates in just two years.
