At Agritechnica 2019, Faresin Industries opens a new season, as always projected towards the future. The company has experienced significant growth driven by the introduction - in Hanover in 2017 - of the innovative PF series of mixer wagons and the new ranges of telehandlers. In the industrial field, the path to the 4.0 factory continued, following the important structural investments of the last two years with a focus on the training of production managers and on the optimization of processes, where the company from Breganze (Vicenza) has created a series of high-level innovations, especially in the field of precision agriculture. The company’s intention is for the next stage in this growth path to be the complete transition from internal combustion engines to electric motors, already achieved with the introduction of the first “full electric” telescopic lift, 100% made in Faresin.

The innovations that Faresin presents at Agritechnica are a reflection of the renewed business strategy of the Vicenza brand. It starts with the Comfort Line cab which, installed on the telescopic handlers, improves the liveability of the passenger compartment, the manoeuvring precision and the management of the controls by the operator.

The main features of the cab include the armrest integrated into the seat, the Can Ban keyboard in the front dashboard, and the new 7” display.

There is news also for the propulsion systems on telehandlers, with the arrival of the Yanmar and Deutz stage V/Tier 4 engines from 51.7 to 55.4 kW, offering top level performance with minimum fuel consumption. The engines are equipped with the exhaust gas post-treatment system DOC + DPF for engines from 51.7 kW to 55.4 kW without the use of AdBlue (DEF). The mixer wagons offer the Long Life option, which increases the durability of the parts of the mixing tank most exposed to wear: spirals and side walls. The Long Life option includes a band in AISI 304 stainless steel with a thickness of 6 mm and a width of about 120 mm, shaped so as to follow the outer edge of the spiral, the point of greatest wear of the auger.

Equipped with Power Blade and Unloading Blade made of AISI 304 stainless steel, Long Life is compatible with the whole series PF1, PF2 plus, towed PF3 plus, PF1, and PF2 self-propelled, but only with standard or 20 mm thick augers. As far as the mixing tank is concerned, the solution adopted by Faresin consists of a band of AISI 304 stainless steel with a height of 500 mm and a thickness of 1.5 mm that entirely covers the perimeter of the lower part of the tank.

The new products launched at Agritechnica include a sophisticated control armrest for mixer wagons, conceived as a true control centre, but characterized by simple and intuitive instrumentation that allows the operator to easily activate the functions on the dashboard, consequently optimizing the management of the vehicle.
