Alentix: precise and uniform work
The new Alentix disc fertilizer spreader is a piece of equipment capable of reducing maintenance operations and machine downtime, and working in a particularly precise manner. It has a hopper capacity ranging from 2,375 to 4,700 liters and – according to the manufacturer – offers a treatment width of up to 54 meters. The new RapidRate dosing system instantly supplies the correct dosage, based for example on driving speed or variable rate application maps, ensuring a pre-set flow of fertilizer. Designed with a square-shaped metering system and positioned centrally above the RotaFlow 100 spreading system, Alentix is able to ensure precision and uniformity of fertilizer spreading even on sloping or hilly terrain according to Kverneland. The RotaFlow 100 system also features a timing bushing with a 100° range for improved section control, especially in small or irregular fields.
The Alentix weighing system features four weighing cells, a double reference sensor and works in real time, without the need for software filters or complex recalibrations. By measuring only the weight of the hopper, says Kverneland, the system integrates with the tractor hitch, optimizing its center of gravity and reducing its lifting force. Alentix is built on a sturdy frame with an integrated quick-release system. The rear cover folds down to create a stable platform for easy filling or checking the hopper, and comes with a ladder to ensure safe and convenient access at all times. Designed for high speed performance even under the most difficult conditions, Kverneland's new Alentix disc spreader offers a combination of high productivity and long life.
