EIMA International marks the debut of the Turbofarmer TF65.9 CS telescopic handler from Merlo, designed to meet the needs of biogas producers. “In the agro-energy sector - explains the company of San Defendente (Cuneo) with a technical note - there is a strong demand for versatile machines, able to operate full circle, using a specific equipment for each process. However, flexibility must not come at the expense of either the load capacity or the lifting height”. The high capacity Turbofarmer TF65.9 CS was born with the aim of combining the versatility required by biogas operators with first class performance. Characterized by a new construction layout, aimed at further improving the productivity and safety features of this line, the new Merlo telehandler is powered by a sturdy 160-horsepower engine and reaches a maximum height of 8.8 metres for a lifting capacity of 6.5 tonnes. Ther is also news for the Multifarmer line, consisting of telehandlers with mechanical power take-off and rear linkage. The range, is which Merlo offers 8 machines with maximum power between 136 and 170 Hp, sees the debut of the MF34.9CS. The latest addition is a compact lift which, like all Multifarmer models, combines the performance of a telehandler with that of an agricultural tractor. Equipped with a suspended cab with wide visibility, to work in all operating conditions respecting the highest standards of comfort, ergonomics and safety, the MF34.9CS has an electronically controlled rear power jack and a CAT2 three-point hitch (lifting capacity of three tonnes), i.e. suitable for managing different types of equipment. These features make the MF34.9CS telehandler a true all-rounder. The range of the Panoramic line is also expanded with the launch of the P72.10 and P120.10HM lifts that are added to another new entry, the P27.6. While this is an ultra-compact and manageable model, the P72.10 and P120.10HM are high-capacity machines (their strength is performance), but still compact, designed for heavy handling in quarries, mines and large construction sites. The P72.10 model is equipped with the new powertrain composed of the Deutz Tier IV final 101 Hp engine, with a maximum capacity of 7.2 tonnes, reaching a height of ten metres. The more vigorous P120.10HM delivers a maximum power of 170 Hp, offers a maximum capacity of 12 tonnes, and reaches 9.8 metres, a height just slightly lower than that of the P72.10.
