Italy – Finland: 4,000 Km with a Merlo "number plate"

by the editorial staff
March - April 2014 | Back

A 4,000 km journey from Italy to Finaland, this is the travel started by Leo Terquijeff, a Rotator employee, the historical importer of the Merlo brand in Finland. Leo has a great passion for his work and is a strong supporter of the Merlo technology (so strong that the brand logo from Piedmont is tatooed on his left arm). The journey, intended to celebrate his retirement, will start from Cuneo on April 29th and finish in Finland in less than two months, after passing through – on a telescopic Merlo tractor  – Italy, Slovenia, Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark and Sweden.

The selected model for the challenge is a P25.6 that with its measures, 1.80 metres long and 1.92 metres high, is the most compact of the Merlo range. The choice fell on this model because the cockpit is the largest of its category, with top comfort and a 36 km/h speed. Follow Leo Terquijeff's challenge on the Merlo site (www.merlo.com), Facebook (www.facebook.com/merlomanne) and Twitter (http://twitter.com/LeoTerquijeff).
