From Friday 23 March until Sunday 25 in Lanciano, the 57th edition of the National Agricultural Exhibition hosts 220 companies in the five covered pavilions and in the large outdoor spaces of the Teatino exhibition centre. There are 27 product categories included by the exhibition regulations, ranging from work clothing to commercial and industrial vehicles, covering all products and services for the various agricultural activities. The chapter dedicated to agricultural machinery is vast, with tractors and all the equipment for the various processes of the primary sector, with a focus on oil, wine and food processing machines. With regard to the farming machinery fleet, the Abruzzo Region confirmed the positive trend of tractor registrations in 2017, similarly to what occurred at the national level.Registrations increased by 17.6%, for a total of 558 new vehicles, of which 276 were registered in the province of Chieti, which confirms the growth trend also in the first month of 2018, with 45 new registrations.

As part of the fair, there will be opportunities to analyse in depth the issues of most urgent interest for the sector, with particular attention on the safe use of vehicles and machinery thanks to new technologies and their correct use by the employees, with meetings organized jointly by ASL Lanciano Vasto Chieti, Prevention Department and INAIL Abruzzo Regional Directorate.

The event is attended by many institutional representatives such as CIA, Coldiretti, the professional associations of Agricultural Experts and of Agronomists and Forestry Experts. FederUnacoma also takes part in the exhibition with a space in Hall 1 (stand 17a), to provide information on the Italian agricultural machinery sector and on the activities of the Federation.

Farm animals, flowers, plants and seeds complete the exhibition offerings of an event certainly dedicated to professionals, but also to hobbyist growers, green enthusiasts and more broadly to families.
