Mazzotti by John Deere
The Mazzotti company of Ravenna, specialised since 1987 in the production of self-propelled sprayers and acquired in 2017 by John Deere, is officially an approved brand of the US company.
The sprayers produced by the Romagna-based group, which are already fitted with John Deere engines, cabins, dual-circuit spraying systems and precision solutions, will still bear the Mazzotti trademark, which will however also include the wording by John Deere, as presented for the first time during the last edition of EIMA International.
Customers of these products - compact, lightweight sprayers with variable ground clearance, independent suspension, Air Assist spraying and a front cab configuration - can now rely on the quality standards and lifecycle parts and service support of all vehicles distributed by John Deere dealers. Users will be able to rely on the European Parts Distribution Centre (EPDC) in Germany for spare parts and the Deere Dealer Technical Assistance Centre (DTAC) for service.
With the Mazzotti MAF small self-propelled sprayers, John Deere is now able to offer a comprehensive range of equipment to farmers in the European market.
A restyling of the MAF 2580, 3180, 3580HP and 4080HP models with tanks ranging from 2,500 to 4,000 litres is also planned for next year, with the introduction of reinforced side covers and lowered hoods for greater operator visibility, easier access to the tank and engine and the adoption of a new flow divider on the rear axle to improve performance on difficult terrain. The large MAF 4240, 5240 and 6240 sprayers, which have a capacity of 4 to 6 thousand litres, will be equipped with John Deere combine cabs (available from May 2022).
The John Deere dealer network has enabled Mazzotti to record sales increases throughout Europe and enter markets in Australia, China and the United States.
