The 3100S towed wrapper is one of the most popular models in the Mascar range. This is a stable and manoeuvrable machine, equipped with a lateral loading fork, especially recommended for farms intending to increase their hourly productivity. Today, this model designed for professional use is presented with an even more innovative technological profile thanks to the new double wrap laying system, which significantly raise the bar performance. “The advantage of the new technology - explains with a technical note the company from Grumolo delle Abbadesse (Vicenza) - is measured above all from the point of view of the reduction in working time, because a single pass is sufficient to wrap the bale in a double layer of film”. However, the constructive solution devised by the Veneto team is not just about performance. It also aims at reliability. “The films are superimposed and glued together thanks to the output roller. This way - the Vicenza company continues - it is possible to avoid plastic film breakages caused by tensioning during the wrapping operations”. Among other constructive advantages of the 3100S towed model, it is worth mentioning the positioning of the hydraulic arm in the upper part of the spreading sheet, which ensures optimal entry of the film inside the mechanical gripper (it has been redesigned to improve grip on the two films). The double film spreader model is suitable for bales ranging from a minimum of 125 to a maximum of 160 cm, and is offered with an automatic wrapping device or with manual controls.
