The FAE company from Trentino expands its range of equipment with two new models, UML/S/EX/VT and SFH, presented at the Sima in Paris and Conexpo in Las Vegas. The first one is a forestry mulcher with fixed teeth rotor designed to equip the category of the most popular excavators, the one in the weight class between 20 and 25 tonnes. Featuring interchangeable counter-blades, chain secured to the frame and an integrated opening and closing system, the UMM/EX forestry mulcher developed by the company from Val di Non (the headquarters are in Fondo) has a constructive architecture designed to provide the highest performance, very close to the top of the range. On the other hand, the variable-speed hydraulic engine of the UML/S/EX/VT provides “first in class” efficiency even in the most complex work along river banks, roadside, and on steep slopes. These are all situations in which the FAE mulcher manages to operate with great ease. As for the power demand, the UML/S/EX/VT starts from a minimum of 110 horsepower. On the other hand, the SFH model, also with fixed teeth rotor, is a rock crusher, mulcher and tiller for tractors up to 500 horsepower.  Resistance and flexibility are the great strengths of this application that is able to shred trees and rocks with a maximum diameter of 45 centimetres and 35 centimetres, respectively, for a work depth of up to 40 centimetres.  The heart of the new FAE crusher is its gear transmission, which transforms the shredding speed, “assisted” by a rotor, and has high-performance tools that give SFH all the features of a true multifunction machine.
