One of the flagship models by ma/ag of Casalbuttano (Cremona) returns to the Hanover event. We are referring to the “Sicura” seeder, a hard-working machine for small seeds, designed by the Lombard team for the working conditions typical of Italian and European agriculture. The equipment is towed, with a steering arm attachment; it features a sturdy central frame for hoppers (seed and fertilizer) and a trolley of intermediate wheels equipped with large flotation tyres; the main frames are positioned on two rows in the front and rear part of the seeder, supporting the seeding elements. The “SSP” pneumatic version is equipped with a pneumatic seed and fertilizer transport system, a volumetric doser, and a hydraulically operated device. “The single sowing element - says a technical note from ma/ag - is placed on an articulated, cushioned and adjustable parallelogram. It features two discs, one serrated and one smooth, mounted staggered with each other, with scraper plate and set apart so as to accommodate the seed inlet pipe.” The device deposits the seed in the ground, while the coulters’ penetration into the soil is made possible by a 180 kg load which can be increased through springs with adjustable preload. For the end part of the sowing unit, the Casalbuttano company provided the option of using single or double toothed disks or with adjustable pressure wheels; the coulter offers a rubber wheel and the beaver tail seed presser. The sowing depth is managed through a dedicated manual command. The seeder is available in a towed version with working widths of 3.00 m (fixed or foldable frame) and working widths of 4.50 and 6.00 m with 17, 25 and 33 standard rows, while the power draw varies from 110 to 220 horsepower. Sicura was created for sowing on hard soil, but can also be used on partially worked soil.
