Smart devices from ARAG

ARAG will be at Agritechnica 2025 to present a complete range of technological solutions for precision agriculture. Its line of intelligent and connected systems  promise to improve operational efficiency, environmental sustainability, and the quality of work in the field. For the crop protection sector, ARAG presents an evolution of its Flowtron system which is now capable of interacting with artificial vision technologies. With this integration, the mechanism detects weeds and treats them selectively, activating the Flowtron valves only when and where necessary, thus reducing the use of pesticides. Precision and measurement versatility are the characteristics of Orion 2+ which represents the evolution of the range of electromagnetic flowmeters from the Reggio Emilia-based company. The flowmeter is designed to measure the flow rate of highly conducting liquids, such as fertilizers, in a wide range of applications. Orion2+ can be applied to various crop protection machines. Furthermore, in combination with the automatic cleaning function, it electro-chemically eliminates residues of the product used, thus limiting maintenance operations. Among the new products that will be exhibited at Agritechnica, the integrated technology consisting of the IBX 50 control unit and the Delta 70T monitor stands out, allowing the use of precision farming technologies even on equipment without ISOBUS. Finally, in the sowing segment, ARAG offers a new version of Orion 3, the electromagnetic flow meter for the distribution of liquid fertilizers on seed drills. Thanks to the CAN-Bus port, the system connects multiple flow meters and monitors the distribution of each row in real time. Orion 3 will be presented in Hanover with an increased flow rate of up to 220 liters per minute.
