eighing 13 tons and over 11 meters long, it already holds a small record: it is the largest machine among the 344 innovations listed in the 2025 Catalog of Finalists by the Industrial Design Association (Associazione per il design industriale, ADI).
This is the Super G “La Guaresi” model from GUARESI agricultural machinery, the flagship tomato harvesting machine of the Ferrara-based brandI, which has been part of the FYELD group since 2022, which presently also includes GRIM (self-propelled sprayers), HORTECH (harvesting and transplanting machines for vegetables), K.U.L.T. (machines for the mechanical weed removal), TOSELLI (trailed sprayers for vegetables), and AGRICOLA ITALIANA (the world's leading pneumatic vegetable seed drill manufacturer).
Designed for more modern, efficient, and safe agriculture, this harvesting machine designed by GAURESI Engineering, marks—according to ADI—a qualitative leap in the sector, thanks to a completely redesigned approach that focuses on ergonomics, performance, and quality materials.
The cabin has been redesigned to offer greater space and comfort, while the passenger compartment stands out with advanced solutions such as the ergonomic armrest, designed for intuitive and fluid control.
The driver's seat offers air conditioning, space for a stereo system, a refrigerated compartment and displays for cameras that can be positioned in various places. The cabin is installed on four silent-blocks independent from the vehicle's frame, a feature that makes vibrations and noise practically non-existent.
Innovations include the new ABS side panel, which is lighter yet more durable than more traditional metalwork solutions, allowing for safe and easy access to the mechanical components via gas-spring-operated doors, a hydraulic brake pedal, an electro-hydraulic steering distributor, full LED night lighting systems, as well as the 10" color display that easily controls the innovative harvest lightening systems.
