Ideal in Castelbaldo near Padua has been designing and building machinery for plant treatment in vineyards and fruit orchards and open field weed control and is now in the avant-garde at the level of sustainability of the environment. For open field crop operations the manufacturer markets a range of machines equipped with manual or hydraulic booms for weed control which can also be deployed for more general plant treatment products. Among them is the Supra Maraichere, a low volume sprayer with a powerful fan ideal for low-medium volume work in open field vegetable crops and greenhouses. The Supra is available in two versions, mounted on the tractor lift with tanks of up to 1,000 liters and trailed with tank capacities of up to 3,000 liters. The hot galvanized booms enable coverage from 12 to 18 meters with hydraulic folding and extension. Low volume nozzles mounted on the booms can be regulated vertically and horizontally by the operator for fine tuning distribution of the product. All versions of the Supra Maraichere model are equipped with a diaphragm 50 bar pump with a dual pressure regulation system for better management. The product is conveyed to the distributors under low pressure and once the quantity for low pressure spraying has been set for the diffusers, the great speed of the air generated by the fan at some 100 m/s micronizes the product. The performance of the powerful fan ensures steady highly refined micronization with excellent balance of the nozzles and equally excellent coverage for saving time and product quantity. Another important feature is an anti-drip device with a tap making it possible to close each individual diffuser to avoid waste of the product.
