The eight models in Magni's new THA range of agricultural telehandlers were the real attraction at the company's stand at the most recent Agritechnica event. Making their debut in Hanover, the THA 3.5.7 and THA 3.5.9 models are designed for working in small spaces, whereas the THA 5.8 L is built for more demanding jobs.

The first two come equipped with an 85 kW Deutz TCD 3.6 L4 Stage V engine, combining small dimensions and performance with a maximum capacity of up to 3,500 kg.

The THA 3,5.7 and THA 3,5.9 were designed by Magni technicians to operate on small and medium-sized farms, especially where space is limited.

A few of the distinctive features of these machines include a two-speed electronic hydrostatic transmission, a reversible engine fan for easier use in enclosed and dusty spaces, a new configurable shortcut keypad that customizes the main functions according to the operator's needs, and front and rear LED headlights.

The top-of-the-range THA 5.8 L model is powered by a 125 kW FPT engine and features a reinforced boom head to support blades with capacities of up to 4,500 liters. Magni's flagship model has been designed for medium-large agricultural enterprises and the recycling sector.

It features a suspended cab that reduces vibrations to the operator, a reversible fan, standard air conditioning, and LED headlights.

The Modena-based manufacturer (headquartered in Castelfranco Emilia) has provided all of its models with a wide selection choice of fixed or rotating rear towing hooks, allowing the machine to adapt to the most diverse operational needs.

The operational flexibility of Magni telehandlers is also enhanced by the rear hydraulic outlets (standard on all 4.5 and 5 ton capacity models) which support a wide range of attachments.

The THA series machines can be equipped with trailer braking systems available in both pneumatic and hydraulic versions and can also be installed together.

Finally, all 4.5 and 5-ton models are equipped with a retarder function that uses engine torque to deliver braking power to the wheels without impacting the braking system.
