The V40, Gianni Ferrari's flagship
The manufacture of professional lawnmowers and multifunctional vehicles for the care of greenery and open spaces is one of the key assets of Gianni Ferrari, which has for some time now expanded its range to include non-collect lawnmowers, sweepers, leaf vacuums, flail mowers, scarifiers, snow blades, and others to care for synthetic grass surfaces. Since 2022, the Gianni Ferrari brand has been part of the Kubota brands, which has recognized its importance and legacy, considering it synonymous with innovation and reliability. In the second half of 2024 two production facilities, one in Gonzaga (Mantua) and the other in Reggiolo (Reggio Emilia) were fully brought into operation. These two facilities have made it possible for the manufacturer to introduce significant innovations. The launch of a vehicle that the company considers key for 2025 and the years to come fits into this context: the V40 multifunctional professional lawn tractor, making its first time ever premiere at EIMA 2024. The V40 is designed to deliver high performance and durability. Robust and comfortable, the new Gianni Ferrari creation is equipped with a 44 Hp Kubota diesel engine with electronic fuel injection and DPF, which the company claims is “the right combination of power, maneuverability, efficiency and economy”.
The tractor features dual speed with infinitesimal control up to 20 km/h for transfers. Dynamism does not affect performance during the cutting and harvesting phases. The V40 features permanent all-wheel drive for the utmost performance even when turning and without slipping on challenging terrain, such as slopes and wet grass. The collection system is integrated into the vehicle and consists of a centrally positioned powerful suction turbine that can be deactivated if necessary. The grass collector has a 1,300-liter capacity and reduces the time required for emptying. The motorized rotating load distributor distributes the grass and fills the container evenly, making the most of its potential. The tank capacity is 40 liters. Like all the vehicles that came before it, the V40 is versatile and multifunctional. In addition to decks and flails, with or without collection, it can be equipped with brushes for various types of cleaning (including synthetic grass), a snow blade, a salt spreader, and a leaf vacuum, for year-round use.
