Tifermec, technologies for green maintenance

Tifermec, an Umbrian company headquartered in Città di Castello, specializes, since 1979, in the production of backhoes, mini diggers, boom mowers, and edge cutters. After sales assistance, on-demand spare parts, and a very good value for money, are the strengths of a wide and differentiated range with back mowers as the best sellers. These applications work - as the builder explains - with all kinds of tractors (wheeled or crawler) equipped with a hydraulic lifting device, and three-point hitch. The equipment is provided with a compulsory fastening system, a device that guarantees not only a greater digging power but, above all, the safety of the operator. Not to mention, among the features of this line of products, the pins and the grouted and grinded bushings, the hydraulic distributors with anti-cavitation system and safety valves, the joystick controls, and the high-performance pumps. Highlighted in the Tifermec’s catalog, the boom mowers, designed to work on hedges, shrubs, grasses and fitted for the maintenance of roadsides, rivers or canal banks. The Umbrian shredders will be exhibited at Agritechnica, and can be used with any type of tractor equipped with a three-point hitch, and a lifting device. They are displayed with a 90° hydraulic safety device and rotation of the arms behind the tractor design; to avoid damages to the machine in case of fixed obstacles, they can also be equipped with a pair of fastening stretchers. Finally, among the other machines displayed at Hanover by the company from Città di Castello, there are the reversible frame edge cutters, which allow to implement the equipment both on the front and back of the tractor, and the versatile mini-excavators, designed to provide a performance of the highest order.
