Warrior STX-180, Scaip's heavy-duty tracked vehicle
Scaip of Parma is expanding its range of crawler tractors with the Warrior STX-180 model, a versatile, heavy-duty tractor designed to tackle the most demanding working conditions with top-level performance. A 175 Hp Volvo Stage V turbo diesel engine provides all the power needed for heavy-duty operations, ensuring power, sustainability and low fuel consumption for a wide range of tasks, from plowing and milling to grubbing and seeding on hard or sloping ground. One of its main strengths is its Full Speedtronic Evo hydrostatic transmission, capable of intelligently managing both traction and power. The Speedtronic Evo technology makes it possible for the operator to set the speed and working depth, letting the tractor automatically adjust the power to the tracks – explains the Emilian company in a note – always maintaining maximum efficiency and stability, even on 30-degree slopes. The result – as stated in the Scaip note – is a smoother, more precise and safer ride, with significantly lower driver fatigue. The 508 mm wide steel tracks provide a large contact surface and low ground pressure, preventing soil compaction and promoting natural water drainage, essential for crop health and for operating on wet soils. The Warrior STX-180 model is equipped with a three-point rear hitch featuring an 8,500 kg capacity, ideal for handling heavy implements and performing demanding towing operations. The 1,000 rpm mechanical PTO and the ability to customize the tractor's configuration make it extremely versatile, capable of adapting to the needs of any agricultural or forestry business. The cabin also boasts top-class numbers, offering a 360° view of the work area, a LED headlight system, and an air conditioning system for the utmost operator comfort.
