Yokohama Off-Highway Tires (YOHT), owner of the Alliance, Galaxy and Primex tyre brands, presented the new Agristar II Alliance 65 series at Agritechnica 2023.

Series that completes a range, that of Agristar II, launched in 2020 first with the 70 and 85 versions, then implemented in subsequent years with the 90-95.

With the 65 series, available in 21 sizes/25 SKUs, in front and rear combinations, the catalogue of this tyre model comes to offer dozens of solutions for different uses.

Featuring Stratified Layer Technology (SLT), exclusive to Alliance, these tractor radial tyres have strakes made up of two layers, each with its own profile: the first at multiple angles and the second at single angles. When the outer layer wears out - according to the manufacturer's technical notes after 40 per cent tread wear - the second layer of the strake with its particular angle comes into play.

The effect is that of a constant traction and road holding for a new tyre life, thus providing overall long-lasting performance. The Agri Star II tyres, which have a speed index of D - 65 km/h, are designed with a higher rubber volume in the centre and a strake design that offers good stability on the road and improved slip and break resistance for a comfortable and quiet ride.

This versatile product range, which is suitable for a wide range of applications, is characterised by a wide shoulder width, which, thanks to a larger contact patch, allows for more careful protection of soil and crops; a high-quality tread compound, which protects the tyre from damage; and a polyester casing, which offers better dimensional stability and ensures that the shape remains unchanged even after intensive use.
