Now in its 44th edition, EIMA International - the showcase of machinery, equipment and technological systems for agriculture and green area maintenance promoted by FederUnacoma and scheduled in Bologna from 11 to 15 November - confirms its place as an extraordinary container of initiatives and meetings dedicated to the represented supply chains.

Alongside the high-profile exhibition - whose participant line-up is already being completed 10 months from the event in line with the 2018 numbers (1,950 exhibitors) - a series of events are currently being defined, ranging from competitions for technical innovations and for the best stand to setting up an outdoor area for performances and rehearsals, and even the so-called “off-exhibition” rendezvous which also include food and wine events in the city.

The in-depth analyses that are already scheduled include the 30th meeting of the Club of Bologna - the body sponsored by FederUnacoma that gathers teachers and researchers from the mechanical agricultural sector from all over the world - which will be held on Sunday, November 15 on the theme of a “sustainable mechanization” for the future.

The Bologna exhibition centre, which has hosted EIMA since its inception in 1969, continues its restructuring and redevelopment process, which began in 2018 with the ongoing construction of the new Hall 37. For next November, all the exhibition spaces will be renamed to allow a better identification of the areas of interest and facilitate the visit to the event.

Alongside a vast media and social media plan in progress, the promotion of EIMA 2020 includes an international Road Show presentation to the press and business operators, which started in Germany last November and continued in India in December. The next stages of the road show in the first half of this year, mainly scheduled for trade shows, will be Greece and Spain in February, Argentina and Brazil in March and April, South Africa in May and Ukraine in June.
