The 600 Vario is a key vehicle for the Fendt brand, both in its 200 Hp power segment, and as a sort of strategic link between the medium and high power ranges, demonstrating the importance that the Marktoberdorf-based manufacturer places on this series. The 600 Vario, designed by Thomas Meier, has won another award, this one from the Association for Industrial Design, which recognizes its compact size, power and versatility. Suitable for agricultural, transport and municipal applications, the 600 Vario comes in four models ranging from 164 to 224 Hp. The series is equipped with what the manufacturer claims is the most powerful four-cylinder engine: the 5.0-liter AGCO Power Core 50, offered with the low-speed concept and the Vario 2.0 continuously variable transmission, which reduces fuel consumption and noise. According to the ADI, the design emphasizes efficiency and maneuverability, thanks to the sloping engine hood, 10.2 m turning radius and aerodynamic grilles optimized with CFD simulation.

The quiet, panoramic VisioPlus cab features a comfortable seat with a massage function, ergonomic controls, multiple displays and CAT4 air filtration. The Fendt 600 Vario is equipped with the ErgoSteer joystick, a VarioGrip system for tire pressure, and is connected to the farm center via the FendtOne Offboard system. It is sustainable in terms of materials – stable, durable and lightweight – and in terms of traction, given that it is also compatible with HVO fuels. The Fendt tractor (weight 7.74 tons) features 58 innovative solutions, including the powertrain, engine, E-LS pump control, new RDRA (for tire pressure regulation) and assistance systems such as Trailer Brake Assist.
