Flexible and fast new Nardi applications

In the EIMA Show space dedicated to field tests, the spotlight focused on the Ergon model, a single-wheel, semi-mounted and reversible plough developed by Nardi, a company based in Selci Lama, in the province of Perugia. This machine’s point of strength is its versatility. It is no coincidence that the Umbrian company markets it with such a high number of fittings and functions, offering it in three different versions: hydraulic out of furrow and in furrow, fixed out of furrow, fixed in furrow. As for the working width setting, the operator can choose between a mechanical step device (in four positions) or a continuous hydraulic device. The working parts (equipped with “non stop” safety bolt) are of helicoidal or cylindrical as standard features, but the user can, on request, equip the Ergon plow with chisel, striped or polyethylene tools. The Casalina di Deruta event also sees the Fast cultivator-preparer in action, designed by Nardi with the aim of reducing the costs associated with soil processing. In a single pass, the Fast grower can not only work the ground in depth, but refine it for the preparation of the seedbed. From the slicing (up to 45 cm) to the decompaction, from the explosion (superficial and deep) to the levelling, the Fast model can not only perform several operations at the same time, but it can execute them at a high working speed. This is made possible by the spacing on the row of the disc sections (with independent support) that makes it possible to make the machine as compact as possible, optimizing the overturning and levelling of the ground, the refinement and the mixing. The rear roller instead provides for levelling, depth control and further refinement of the soil. The cultivator’s anchors are equipped with a traction safety bolt; the Non stop hydro-pneumatic safety system is available as an option.
