Heavy duty applications for Panther tracked utility vehicles

From muddy soils to snow-covered ground, all the way to gravel-covered surfaces. Presented in April at the Bauma in Munich, the Panther tracked utility vehicles are versatile and efficient working tools, designed by the German Prinoth to offer high-level performance even in the most extreme operating conditions, also thanks to a high payload. The real strong point of these models is represented by a decidedly low ground pressure, which, combined with a construction architecture custom-designed for heavy duty applications, adapts to any type of soil: rocks, slopes, wetland bottoms (the fording depth is about 1.4 m), and even deep mud. Equipped with rubber tracks with a zig-zag structure (optimizing traction and lateral grip on slopes), tandem chassis, oversize wheels for off-road trails, and the motor in a raised position, the Panther tracked utility vehicles have a payload capacity of between 5,420 and 20,865 kilogrammes. Within the range, the Panther T16 and T22 are characterized by extremely low ground pressure even when fully loaded; moreover, thanks to the optimal weight distribution on the Rad frame (designed to facilitate the mounting of tools on the vehicle’s auxiliary structure), they offer maximum freedom of customization for the most varied types of use. Starting this fall, the Panther 12 will be available in the new version with through rotation system of the upper element of the vehicle on a fixed frame. This means that the tracked utility vehicle, designed to work in spaces too narrow for other types of vehicles, will be characterized by an even higher load capacity and maximum speed.
