Panther, Antonio Carraro's new super-compact tractor line
This is the Panther a new line of super-compact tractors that takes its name from the Prosecco Doc Imoco women's volleyball team from Conegliano, whose athletes, sponsored by Antonio Carraro, are nicknamed the "Panthers". The super-compact series created by the Campodarsego manufacturer is made up of three models - 22 M and 26 M with mechanical gearbox and 26 H with hydrostatic transmission - all equipped with a three-cylinder Mitsubishi diesel Stage V engine (delivering 22 horsepower on the 22 M and 25 on the 26 M and 26 H). The Panther tractor line was designed by Antonio Carraro technicians to be used by hobby farmers, but they can also be used for small jobs on larger farms. The flat platform and gear levers placed to the left of the driving position ensure the utmost in operator comfort. The 22 M and 26 M models are equipped with a gearbox with side levers positioned to the left side of the seat, featuring 9 forward and 3 reverse gears. The lever for selecting the 540/540E PTO is also located on the left side of the driving position, while the controls for managing the lift are located on the right side. The hydraulic system consists of an 11 l/m pump for the Panther 22 and two pumps - also 11 l/m - for the 26 M, one for the power steering and the other for the hydraulic system. The hydrostatic model 26 features a hydrostatic transmission with lever-operated forward movement control (Low-Medium-High) which allows it to reach a maximum speed of 23 km/h. In addition to the standard rear PTO, the Panther 26 H also features a centrally-positioned PTO. The super-compact Antonio Carraro models come with a protective arch, rear-mounted on the 22 M model, and front-mounted on the 26 M. The 26 H model offers operators the ability to choose between a front- or rear-mounted rollbar on the tractor.
