Innovative features of the TM200 Progressive Traction tire
At Agritechnica, Trelleborg Tires launched its new TM200 ProgressiveTraction 2025 tire onto the market. The model is the first VF (Very High Flexion) tire developed by Trelleborg engineers for vineyards and orchards, where precision, stability and soil protection are essential. By combining VF and ProgressiveTraction technologies – states the Yokohama Group company – the TM200 ProgressiveTraction provides all the necessary traction and reduced soil compaction. The ability to operate at low inflation pressures also improves the operator's driving comfort, while, as the manufacturer points out, the particular double lug design increases the vehicle's grip and stability. Trelleborg's technology also increases tractive force by 15% compared to other tires on the market, and improves both productivity and fuel efficiency, even on slopes. The TM200 has been designed for use with front-mounted implements also because the reinforced VF carcass ensures greater flexibility and lateral stability, even under the most demanding working conditions, such as on slopes and uneven terrain. Each TM200 ProgressiveTraction is equipped with a unique QR code so that operators can consult product information online, especially that relating to optimal use of the tire.
