Trelleborg Tires, a brand of the Yokohama TWS Group, will be present with a stand full of new products at Agritechnica. Let's start with the new TM800 PowerFlex tire for medium and high power tractors. The VF-PFO (Very High Flexion – Pressure Field Operations) structure and the patented design of the ProgressiveTraction lugs with a new central rib, inspired by the geometry of road tires, the TM800 provides optimal standards of stability, steering precision and driving comfort during long transfers.
Field tests have shown an increase in traction of up to 20%, compared to other tires on the market, and – Trelleborg Tires points out – a reduction in slippage, resulting in increased operating efficiency on wet or soft ground. The footprint is 5% larger and reduces soil compaction, thus preserving yields. In muddy conditions, the new terraces between the lugs increase the self-cleaning capabilities of the tire.
Another new product on display in Hanover is the TM3000 VF 1250/50R32 tire, developed by Trelleborg technicians to be used with fertilizer spreaders and sprayers. The tire combines an extra-large footprint with VF technology, which allows for up to 40% more load at the same pressure or the same flow rate at reduced pressure. The rounded shoulder profile preserves soil health and agricultural yields, while ProgressiveTraction technology increases grip and the rubber's self-cleaning ability.
Finally, Trelleborg Tires is also presenting its first agricultural track to the Agritechnica public, the ART1000, the result of decades of experience and the brand's first model in the rubber track segment. Designed for high-horsepower machines, the ART1000 reduces soil compaction thanks to the technologically advanced shape of the tread bars, promoting healthy root growth and improving nutrient uptake by plants.
