Trelleborg tires, maximum traction
Trelleborg Tires, a Yokohama TWS Group company, launches the TM900 ProgressiveTraction agricultural tire for high-power tractors. At the heart of the new model is the ProgressiveTraction technology which, thanks to the double anchoring of the lug, acts on the ground at different times to provide progressively greater traction, up to 17% more – claims the manufacturer – than other tires on the market. “As tractors become more powerful and farmers face greater challenges,” said Alessio Bucci, Global Product Marketing Director at Trelleborg Tires, “it is essential that tires do more than just carry the load: they must improve performance, protect the soil and increase operational efficiency”. The lugs of the new model have been designed with an innovative design that offers improved self-cleaning properties, maintaining high traction capabilities while avoiding the accumulation of mud. Furthermore, their angle offers greater stability and safety during transport, both on the road and in the field. Finally, the wider base of the lug contributes to a significant reduction in vibrations, offering a smoother ride, while optimizing driving and fuel consumption.
