Compactness and structural solidity are the main strengths of the RD rototiller, a best seller from Sicma, an Abruzzo company with a strong commitment in the field of machinery for tilling. The model developed by the company from Miglianico (Chieti) is a medium-heavy fixed machine for tractors in the power range between 35 to 60 horses (PTO 540 rpm) available with box frame, four-speed gearbox (also made by Sicma) and oil bath transmission; components designed to enhance the resistance of the RD to mechanical stress, making reliability one of the winning features of the machine. For this reason, the brand from Abruzzo has equipped the RD rototiller with a “long life” permanent sealing system, designed to optimize the rotor support bearing shield and thus extend its normal life cycle. As regards the tools, the basic equipment includes curved hoes especially suited to operations on normal or moist soils. On request, it is possible to equip the Sicma rototiller also with right angle hoes for sandy soils or blades for hard and wet soils. In addition, the RD model can be equipped with a spiked roller useful for stony, clay and highly humid soils (only available for versions 160-185-210). Thanks to these technical features, the Sicma application is a versatile machine, capable of meeting the needs of small as well as large farms that need to rely on a working tool that is durable, rugged, and technologically advanced.
