Storti is arriving in Hanover for the Agrilevante exhibition for the presentation of their updated series of vertical self-propelled cutter-mixer wagons, the Dobermann EVO, built for large livestock raising enterprises in need of great load capacities and the speedy transfer of feed. The company is unveiling the GP EVO, with capacity of 27-30-33 m³, a high speed version up to 40 km/h on three axles with active independent hydropneumatic suspension to ensure maximum traction even on slippery terrain with the option of lifting the rear axle not under load. The active independent suspension system is managed by a CPU, the heart of the machine which automatically levels the wagon and stabilizes it on curves even at maximum speed and with a full load. Moreover, with a selector in the cab the machine can be raised or lowered for overcoming obstacles or passing through an entrance with a low overhead clearance.

The Dobermann GP and all the Dobermann EVU models will introduce in 2016 the new six cylinder FTP Phase 4 Final engines rated at 206 or 247 hp. Already, the SW 200 HS EVO equipped with the new power plant will be on the floor at Agrilevante. The machines are offered with standard equipment including independent hydrostatic (HST) front suspension, a CPU for automatic greasing, a cutter arm with stainless steel inserts, cutter in wear-resistant steel, tungsten carry knives and an innovative Overboost function that speeds up the rotation of the unloading augers to ensure complete emptying of the load.

These machines also feature CAN BUS management logic which connects the engine, controls and the weighing plant with the CPU on board which, through software, manages all function efficiently and reliably.

Independent tests carried out in France by the Inrà® Institute and in Germany by the specialized Profi publication highlighted the high capacity of Storti’s exclusive FPS, Fiber Pickup System. The company’s cutter, in fact, guarantees an extraordinary load capacity for all products and especially improved performance for protecting the integrity of the silage structure thanks in part to the innovative design of the cutter drum which avoids useless passage of the knives through the product and, on the other hand, the ability to load with two directions of rotation, a unique feature for the market.

The ample glass surfaces of the cab ensure optimum visibility for the operator whose work is further facilitated by the display of the functions of the machine on a TFT monitor located in the center of an ergonomic and fully adjustable steering column.
