VEDO, ELCA's easy-to-use remote control
Reliability, safety and ease of use are the key concepts ELCA uses to create its industrial radio control units. And following these principles, the company from Mussolente (Vicenza) will be in Hanover to present VEDO: a waist remote control featuring an ergonomic design, intuitive functionality and robustness. Every detail of the device (this year's winner of the iF Design Award), has been carefully researched: the LED feedback is clear, the symbols are spaced and visible, as is the customizable body. Furthermore, the structure was made with a honeycomb core to give the new model lightness and strength. The new ELCA remote control has many strong points, starting with the emergency stop button - centrally positioned for quick presses - and the two-level control panel, keeping essential controls within easy reach, and the 360° perimeter protection that can also be used as a hand rest, thus promoting a more stable grip. The compact and robust VEDO unit was designed by ELCA technicians for intensive use. Worn like a tool belt, ELCA's latest creation makes it possible to control the most complex vehicle movements naturally, similar to typing on a keyboard.
