At EIMA International 2021, Apollo Tyres unveiled the new Vredestein Traxion Versa Green tyre, developed by the Indian company's engineers specifically for transporters intended for use on rough terrain like that of Alpine regions. The Versa Green is a top-of-the-range tyre that not only stands out for its traction and stability, but also for its curved tread profile and rounded shoulder blocks, which make it possible to carry out particularly delicate work on grassy terrain. Another innovative feature of the tread is the curved crampons (not parallel like those on other models), which increase driving comfort and help prolong the life of the tyre, the manufacturer explains in a technical note. Versa Green, offered in size 440/50 R17 IMP 135D to replace the 425/55 R17, is also popular for its high stability on the most demanding slopes. This is made possible by its steel belt and stabiliser ring structure. For Apollo Tyres, 2021 closes with the debut in the virtual world of Farming Simulator 22, the well-known agricultural simulation platform developed by Giants Software. As of this year, Vredestein tyres will be fitted to the tractors and machines (trailers, loaders, implements) in the game. This implementation of Farming Simulator required a great deal of teamwork from Apollo Tyres and Giants Software in order to transfer the specific characteristics of the Dutch company's ranges to the 2D and 3D environments and game mechanics.
