Restyling is on the way for the Sirio all-terrain lift truck which, available in the 20.4 and 27.4 Stage V models, is offered by Giorgio Babini SRL of Longastrino (Ferrara) with even more innovative constructional solutions than the previous versions.

The most significant innovations concern the Stage V engine and the design of the machine, with the use of more versatile and modern materials compared to traditional sheet metal. The use of new materials has mainly involved the bonnet - now made of fibreglass - and the roll-bar tube, which has a butterfly profile compatible with the structure of a cab. Another new feature is the possibility of inserting (at the customer's request) an auxiliary drum brake control on the front axle.

Essential characteristics that have always been a feature of Babini's trucks are the Poclain transmission which, thanks to the flow dividers, gives the machine agility in manoeuvring even on the most difficult terrain, while the small steering angle (just 57°) allows the operator to manoeuvre in the tightest of spaces, and to reverse gear in just 1.8 m on the inner wheel, such as leaving one row and entering the next without having to do any further manoeuvring.

Equipped with four-wheel drive, the Sirio all-terrain forklift is available with a load capacity of 1,500 kg, triplex mast 3.20 metres and duplex 2.50 metres; load capacity of 2,000 kg and 2,700 kg, with triplex mast 4.00 metres and duplex 3.20 metres. All possibly with free lift. It can be extensively customised with a large number of accessories (from load clamps to the hydraulic bucket, from the tipper to the bale spikes). The strength of the Babini company, in addition to the attention to detail, is the special attention paid to the customers’ needs, customising each machine at his discretion and to his requirements.
