Business and culture at the Madonnino Fair

A date in the Maremma region for the  thirty-seventh Fiera del Madonnino, the fair with roots in folk tradition with a focus on the agriculture, craft, commercial earth moving machinery and equipment sectors.

80% of the exhibitors at the event, being held in the Grosseto fair district at Braccagni, from 23rd to 26th April, are engaged in activities linked with agriculture with a large showcase reserved for agricultural machinery and equipment. Among the Fair’s side events,  special mention must be made of the thirtieth National Chianina Cattle Show that opens on April 24th and the sixth Market Fair devoted to gardening and nursery activities and the equipment for those sectors.

The fairs in the offering are rounded off by an educational farm dedicated to farmyard animals, gardening and the cultivation of kitchen garden plants workshops, guided tastings of Maremma- certified produce, a short-supply-chain market, a hawkers’ market and opportunities to learn more through meetings and conventions at the congress area at the fair centre. At the end of the fair the Grossetofiere Trophy rewarding the best stand outfitting will be awarded for the fourth year in a row. For the first time this year, from May 30th until June 1st,  the Madonnino fair district is  the venue of the  Game Fair, an event with English origins dedicated to outdoor life now in its  twenty-fifth year.
