Clim.Air.50, with a specialty in the manufacture of round bale and square bale hay dryers and loose hay, has been active on the French market and now operates globally with plants in four continents and has further consolidated its standing in the primary sector in France thanks to a range of dryers based on biogas plants and other renewable energy sources, including the Solar Captator sun roofs of haylofts.

The new range is equipped with highly efficient heat exchangers designed for drying hay and other products through the use of heat generated by a biogas system.

The biogas plant connected to the hay dryer allows the farm to recover the heat produced by the electric co-generator cooling process.

With the heating-ventilation exchanger section and capture of exhaust heat the hot water produced during the motor cooling of the biogas plant creates channeled hot air to dry the Hay bales.

Moreover, the forage dryers produced by the Italian manufacturer are versatile and flexible thanks to their thermal ventilation center which, when not drying forage, can be used to dry such compatible materials as chips, cereals and other specific products suitable for the drying process. Another Clim.Air.50 strong point is the short drying process which increases the productivity of the plant due to the quantities of hay treated over time as well as the quality of a product easily digested by livestock.

Other than not requiring the use of dedicated sheds or other structures, the manufacturer’s drying system is free-standing and can be moved if the layout of the farm is modified. Also the system is built with modular technology enabling it to be revised and optimized to take advantage of spaces made available on the farm.
