Berti is arriving at the Verona exposition for the introduction of the manufacturer's line of embankment mulchers, the TA, TA/S, TA/P and TA/PS models. The TA/P and TA/PS mulchers have already been welcomed on the market for their robust frames and the TA/S and TA/PS machines thanks to their external gear box which which allows greater and more accentuated maneuverability of the mulcher by the tractor. The Berti restyling was aimed at improving the yield of these machines as well as their level of safety and involved inclined cylinders now fitted with safety valves which optimize cylinder pressure during operation and in the case of a break in the hydraulic circuit and an enlarging the roller diameter for supporting the weight of the mulcher head on soft terrain. Also upgraded were the bearings, now sealed oscillating bearings, a strengthened rotor for ensuring the robustness of the machine and the installation of a specialized hammer designed by Berti for a further improvement of the precision of mulching. The TA/P and TA/PS models can be mounted on tractors 80-160 HP and the TA and TA/S machines require tractor power of 60-100 HP. These four models are offset/in-line mulchers ideal for clearing parks, gardens and other green areas, ditches, slopes, water course and roadside banks for mulching grass, vegetation residues, brush and branches of up to 5-6 cmÆ for the TA and TA/S machines and up to 7-8 cmÆ for the heavy duty TA/P and TA/PA models. Also noteworthy is the standard equipment built into these mulchers ranging from fully automatic belt tensioning which improves safety in maintenance operations, a rounded right flank of the machine for working very close to vegetation and a hardened PTO drive shaft. Also new for Berti and up for presentation at Fieragricola is the restyling of the TFB/Y universal mulcher suited for handling grass, pruning and branches in vineyards and orchards with a power requirement of 40 to 110 HP. The changes applied to this model came for the two-position levelling roller, rear and  equipped with a scraper for self-cleaning, for an improved discharge of grass, the rigid frame built with doubled steel sheets and a monitoring system for the mulching hammer which uses hardened bolts for boosting the robustness and performance of the machine
