Hinowa Launches its LightLift 15.70 Performance IIIS compact platform
The LightLift 15.70 Performance IIIS platform is the latest addition to Hinowa's LightLift family, following in the footsteps of the Goldlift 14.70. Its new articulated structure in high-strength steel uses a pantograph layout designed to provide a constant “flush-to-wall” elevation of 10 meters and a maximum working height of 15.40 meters. The Performance jib (an additional articulated arm) provides a capacity of 230 kg across the entire operating range, regardless of the basket position, working height and extension of the arms, with a horizontal distance of 6.6 meters. This configuration makes it possible to always work with two operators and with the equipment in the basket. Compared to the previous model, the platform reduces the stabilization area by 8% with a more compact transport footprint. Without the basket it measures 3.4 meters in length (47 cm less than the Goldlift) and less than 2 meters in height. Its compact size makes the LightLift 15.70 also suitable for carrying out indoor operations, as demonstrated by the pruning of a Euphorbia ingens inside the Mediterranean Greenhouse of the Minoprio Foundation in the province of Como. The plant, about 12 meters tall and located in the center of a flowerbed, had grown to almost touch the upper glass windows of the greenhouse, and was in real danger of damaging it. In order to work on the plant it was necessary to use a LightLift 15.70 platform, placing it in a strategic position on a path near the flowerbed. The maneuvers were carried out with great precision around the Euphorbia without damaging it thanks to the large arm of the 15.70 which limited the movements and repositioning of the machine to a minimum. During the pruning operation the platform worked mainly between 6 and 10 meters, easily succeeding in handling all the cutting operations.
