Major topics of the Bari exhibition
The eighth edition of Agrilevante features a full schedule of topical discussions. More than twenty meetings are scheduled, including conferences, seminars and technical workshops. Scenario assessments and political topics will be prominent at the inaugural ceremony
Agrilevante is not only a promotional and commercial platform, but also a political and strategic one, which offers national and local institutions, the university world and professional organizations opportunities for discussion on the most current issues.. The eighth edition of the event also features a packed schedule of conferences, seminars, and technical workshops, currently numbering more than twenty meetings. The major issues of Mediterranean agriculture are at the heart of the traditional pre-conference conference, to be held on October 8th, which will devote a significant portion of its work to scenario assessments. The focus on political and institutional issues continues on the first day of the event, Thursday, October 9, with the opening ceremony. In attendance are Agriculture Minister Francesco Lollobrigida, Made in Italy Minister Adolfo Urso, ICE Agency Director Matteo Zoppas, Fiera del Levante President Gaetano Frulli, Bari Mayor Vito Leccese, FederUnacoma President Mariateresa Maschio, and General Director Simona Rapastella. In the afternoon of the same day, the focus will shift to Africa with the conference entitled "The New Africa: Education, Training, and Education for Agricultural and Agricultural Engineering Technicians," organized by FederUnacoma and the magazine Africa Affari. Purely technical in nature are the meetings on the Blue Tongue emergency (ASL Bari and Puglia Salute), on olive growing (L'Informatore Agrario), and on risk reduction in the agricultural sector (Inail). Also noteworthy among the first day's highlights are the conference on contract farming (Edagricole and CAI Agromec) and the international agricultural press meeting promoted by Unarga. Livestock farming, horticulture, viticulture, and renewable energy (with events organized by Informatore Agrario, Edagricole, Itabia, Coldiretti, FTP, and the University of Bari) are some of the key topics of the second day of Agrilevante. In addition to presenting major industry trade fairs such as Enoliexpo, Rive, and Agriumbria, the event will also focus on the climate emergency with a panel entitled "Climate Shelters: Green Solutions for Urban Areas." Saturday, October 11, opens with the meeting of the Club of Bologna, which is meeting for the first time at Agrilevante. Over the course of two intense days of work the prestigious association of experts and academics from all over the world will assess agricultural mechanization scenarios and suggest an agenda of priorities that will also prove useful for the purposes of planning in political settings. The third day of the event also features a meeting dedicated to the topic "Communicating Agricultural Mechanics: The Contribution of Social Media and Content Creators," organized by FederUnacoma, and a conference promoted by CIA entitled "Agriculture and Politics Online: Strategy for Apulia." Sustainability in agriculture will be discussed at another conference organized by Agromillora.
