New Yanmar engines for Antonio Carraro

The upgrade of the Antonio Carraro range continues, with the introduction of Stage V engines. It will be the Yanmar 3TNV86CT-MCR engine with 38.8 Hp and 2,600 rpm that will power the new AC models 4800: the TTR 4800 HST isodiametric steerable reversible tractor with hydrostatic transmission; the SP 4800 HST, an isodiametric cab tractor with articulated frame, one-way and hydrostatic transmission; the Tigre 4800 F steerable tractor with differentiated wheels. For these models - the first two are intended for green maintenance, the third for specialised agriculture - the Campodarsego (PD)-based company's engineers opted for a turbocharged 38.8 Hp engine, which improves torque and power availability, and is prized for its quiet operation and low fuel consumption. More specifically, the new Stage V Yanmar engines are equipped with a particulate filter, common rail injection system, cooled EGR valve for exhaust gas recirculation, and an electronic management system that manages the regeneration process of the particulate filter, limiting downtime to a minimum. With this further upgrade, the partnership between Antonio Carraro and Yanmar is further strengthened thanks to engine solutions that the Veneto-based team considers to be among the best in the industry in terms of both performance and respect for the environment.
