Pioggia Carnevali: sophisticated solutions for the 2350 irrigation machine

November 2015 | Back

The latest addition by Pioggia Carnevali, the company from Mantova specialized in the manufacture of machines for irrigation, is the 2350 irrigation machine, a self-propelled model with built-in motor pump and hydraulic feed system (which replaces the turbine). From a technical and constructive standpoint, the solution adopted by the firm from Porto Mantovano has been to entrust the entire control and programming of the watering cycles to a single electronic control unit equipped with a user-friendly interface, so that the operation of the motor pump unit (customizable both as a motor and as a pump body) is automatic, thanks to the possibility of adapting the rotation scheme to each type of job. For the roll-rewinding transmission, the choice was a system of double chain on rubber webbing.

Compatible with DN 125 mm pipes (length up to 550 metres), DN 135 mm (up to 430 metres) and DN 140 mm (up to 400 metres), the 2350 irrigation machine is offered by Pioggia Carnevali with a standard setup that provides for a 300 litre tank, a roof, and netting to protect the engine compartment, a soundproof muffler with a system for filling suction by depression. In addition, the extensive standard equipment includes a DN 150 mm suction set, 4 metres long, moved by a hydraulic davit; a 8.500 lt/min compressor for pipe emptying; a 4-speed gearbox; and finally a sprinkler trolley with four wheels, with a 50 cm extension for corn.
