Quick Up, the new Capello conveyor

Quick Up is the name of a modular conveyor that allows you to connect the same maize head with a self-propelled forage harvester to produce maize mash or a combine to harvest the grain. Previewed at Agritechnica 2019 and officially launched on the Italian market last January at Fieragricola, this conveyor is made by the Piedmontese Capello (the headquarters are in Cuneo). Its main strengths are speed and ease of use, as the manufacturer makes clear. “To safely connect the maize head used on the combine to the self-propelled forage harvester - explains the Cuneo-based company - once Quick up is mounted on the forage harvester, just approach the maize head and, after hooking it, move a simple lever”.

But the modular Quick Up component also has another winning feature. “Our designers have equipped the conveyor with an oversized auger, designed in such a way as to ensure a constant flow of product and to optimize the feeding of the forage harvester. This way - continues the Piedmontese company - the machine’s full potential can be exploited”. For the users, the advantages are measured not only on the operational side, thanks to a higher quality of workmanship; they are also measured from an economic point of view, because they can use a single head both with the combine and with the self-propelled forage harvester. In other words, farmers and contractors are not forced to buy heads with specific attachments for one or the other. The modular Quick Up conveyor has a standardized central structure, designed to ensure full compatibility with models of different brands, including John Deere, Claas and New Holland.
