The Major line is a range of professional vacuums developed by Green Technik from Piedmont (the headquarters are in Vezza d’Alba, in the Cuneo province) for cleaning roads, parks, boulevards, gardens, and yards. It has a total of four models - three powered by an internal combustion engine (a Honda engine for the Major 1800 H13 and Major 1800 S14, a Subaru for the Major 2000 H20) and one by a tractor PTO (Major 2000 PTO) - recommended for gathering materials such as grass, paper, bottles, cans, and leaves on surfaces such as roads, parks, boulevards, gardens, yards. The heart of the Major vacuums, as explained by the company from Cuneo in a technical note, is a turbine constructed with wear-resistant materials and a thick sheet metal fan body which, in addition to high performance, ensure that the product’s life cycle is prolonged over time. It is worth noting that the Major vacuums, all equipped with a subframe, can be secured to the side of any vehicle (on request also to a skip loader) and provide the operator with maximum freedom of customization, thanks to a wide range of options. The fittings include a trolley with hydraulic lift, a dust abatement kit (a jet of water in the fan body reduces the volume of dust ejected from the discharge conveyor), a support rod (rotatable by 180°) for the pipe, and a special suction conveyor with pivoting wheels that can be applied at the end of the suction hose. Also on request, a kit is available with an eight metre pipe (100 mm in diameter) with which you can transform the vacuum into a true blower.
