Elephant Self, Leopard Self and Tuareg 7 Self, these are the names of the three new series of self-propelled mixer-shredder wagons produced by the Italian company Seko at the Curtarolo plant in Padua, and present in Hanover. ELEPHANT SELF Series. This new line of self-propelled machines is the result of extensive design and development work. These are high-performance vehicles, designed with a load capacity from 17 to 27 m3. Offered in both horizontal and vertical versions, they are equipped with a powerful rear engine, far from the cab, for maximum operator comfort and easy access for maintenance.Suspension axles, 4WD transmission, steering wheels and a modern and efficient hydraulic system are part of the standard equipment on these machines built for intense and continuous use, ensuring perfect movement even on rugged terrain, and a small steering radius to move with great agility even in tight spaces. LEOPARD SELF Series. Available in 11 to 17 cubic metre capacities, these machines are the ideal solution for feeding livestock in small and medium-sized farms, ensuring the best results in terms of milk production and animal health, as well as a rapid return on investment. Like all the Seko machines with horizontal axles, this series is also characterized by the original and patented “Double Mix” shredding and mixing system, which consists of just two lower augers equipped with special blades and counterblades which ensure perfect cutting and mixing of all the products used in the ration, respecting their full organoleptic characteristics. TUAREG 7 SELF Series. The Tuareg 7 Self Series is also a line of new,  powerful and comfortable vertical machines. They are equipped with a powerful and precise 2.2 metre wide silage loading machine, which is positioned at the highest levels for work efficiency and respect for the fibre, capable of loading 3 tonnes/m of corn silage. Available with a capacity of 12 to 33 cubic metres, they are powered by engines from 175 to 285 Hp with exceptional performance and maximum efficiency in fuel consumption. Designed to work on large farms for many hours a day, these machines are characterized by a modern design where the location of all the major components has been carefully studied to ensure maximum productivity, lower operating costs and excellent comfort levels for the operator. The front engine makes the machine more compact and allows easy access even on small-scale farms. The augers equipped with special cutter blades ensure shredding precision and speed thanks to the particularly effective shredding system in the processing of packaged fibrous products and a careful and uniform mixing.
