As is usual, Berti Macchine Agricole will turn up for an important trade fair event, this time the SIMA Agricultural Business Show in Paris, with all that is new in the manufacturer’s ranges. To start with are the new versions of the multipurpose TA/MI and TA/M mulchers for tractors of 50 to 90 Hp ideal for clearing green areas, gardens, slopes, ditches, banks of watercourses and road verges. Introduced for these offset/in-line mulchers were a stronger rotor and work width widened to 200 cm. These machines are built not only for agricultural work but also for public agencies, contractors and grounds keepers in general and can perform lateral as well as rear operations. Coming as standard equipment with these two models are an internal gear box for the TA/MI and external for the TA/M, Cat.II three-point linkage with floating system and safety lock, full automatic belt adjuster, hydraulic side shift with breakaway valve, hydraulic cylinder for head positioning with floating link and safety valve and hardened PTO drive shaft with a reinforced profile. On offer on the side of optional equipment are the Berti patented Anti-Shock Device (patented), skids of anti-wearing steel and double wide-angle drive shaft. Also coming up at the SIMA show is the Ecosprint inter-row weeding mower recommended by Berti for farms aiming to reduce use of chemical plant treatment products for eliminating weeds between rows at the ground surface. The machine works with a mowing head with a patented cord flail rotor. Using the centrifugal force of the rotor, the flails reach out and shred the weeds and the grass in between, without damaging the tree trunks or even light stems. The Ecospring is available in a version with a single independent frame with 3-point linkage Cat. I-II and hydraulic cylinders for height and tilt adjustment of mower head. Another product heading for the spotlight in Paris is the new TSB/S stalk shredder for tractors powered at 70 to 140 Hp designed for shredding maize stalks, corn stalks, sunflowers, vegetables, sugar cane, potatoes, pasture topping and set aside land maintenance. The TSB/S comes with displaceable 3-point linkage, Cat. II. hydraulic side shift with hoses and quick coupling, free wheel in the gearbox and Berti universal Y blades and bolted counter-blades.
